Cacao and Beltane Ceremony

Sunday April 30 2017 - 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Location: Radiance • 9 W Grant St • Lancaster

On the eve of Beltane, let’s Celebrate Life to its fullest with Ceremonial grade Cacao. At this time of year the Earth energies are at their strongest and most active and all of life is bursting with potent fertility. How appropriate that one of Cacao’s main active ingredients is Theobromine, which literally translates as God-food, and facilitates the release of dopamine, the ‘pleasure’ hormone. This day brings the opportunity to celebrate the sacred feminine and masculine energies of the universe.

The cacao energy, often known as Ixcacao, is often experienced as a feminine, shakti energy – life giving, nourishing & energizing. The sacred cacao bean was also associated with Xochiquetzal, an Aztec fertility maiden goddess associated with love, beauty, childbirth, feminine sexual power and female crafts.

Supported by the amazing physical and spiritual aspects of Cacao, we will gather in ceremony, create a Beltane altar, honor the creative energies of this holiday and celebrate the Goddess in all of us.

Coined as ‘food for the shift’, cacao ceremony acts as fuel for our spiritual evolution by helping us find joy in our hearts, release old pain, and tune in to the messages of the soul.

This event will be held at Radiance, 9 W Grant St., across the cobblestones from Lancaster’s Central Market, in the heart of downtown Lancaster. To register stop in, or phone Radiance at 717-290-1517. $25.00
